Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer 'Geetha Govindam's' first look has been unveiled.
After much anticipation the first look of the film Geetha Govindam is out. The first looked was shared on June 23, after Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna introduced their characters from the upcoming film in the most quirky manner.
In the recently released picture, Vijay can be seen lifting Rashmika in the air with his legs as she rejoices. "Naa kaallu thimmiri ekkina, Nadumu noppi lechina, Mee baruvu badhyata eppudu naade madam :) #GeethaGovindam (sic)," the Arjun Reddy star posted on Twitter, while sharing the film's first look.
Rashmika quickly responded to this by writing, "Ippudenti, naa baruvu valla nee kaallu, nadumu, nee health effect avtundi ani antunnava? (sic)."
Earlier, the flirtacious banter between the lead actors while introducing their characters from the film- Geetha and Govind, went viral on social media, and now their look from the film is also being appreciated.
The conversation began when Rashmika Mandanna, posting an article from Hyderabad Times which read, “Filmfare Best Actor anta kada- Congratulations Govind.” Getting right into the skin of his character, Vijay Deverakonda replied, “Madammm, Geetha madam, meetho time gadpadam Naku nijamaina award madam. Ivvi osthuntayi pothuntayi.”
Rashmika replied to that saying the award should’ve been handed to Prabhas or Jr NTR instead of him. “Igo Govindam, ee overaction ey thaginchukomannadi. Asalu Neeku Kadu... Prabhas Ko Tarak Ko isthe maku ee godava poyedi,” she quipped.
Geetha Govindam will be the second film together for Rashmika and Vijay together and will also be seen in Dear Comrade which will be directed by Bharat Kamma. Geetha Govindham is said to be a breezy romantic entertainer and as suggested in their Twitter conversations, Vijay may be seen wooing Rashmika in the plot.
The shooting of Geetha Govindham is to begin soon and the release date is expected to be around the early part of 2019.
Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for his Tamil debut NOTA which is being directed by Anand Shankar and produced by KE Gnanavelraja. The film will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual and stars Mehreen Pirzada as the leading lady.
Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, is shooting for the multi-starrer featuring Nani and Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead roles. The multi-starrer is beig directed by Sriram Aditya.
