South star couple Samantha Prabhu Ruth and Naga Chaitanya on Friday took to her Instagram Stories to hit back at trolls who have been questioning her decision to divorce her superstar husband. Criticizing the 'society' as a whole for its double standards for men and women, Samantha shared a powerful quote on how women are questioned for their decisions while the men are treated differently if they make the same decisions.
Captioning her post with a greeting, "Good morning", the quote Samantha shared, read, "If matters are constantly morally questionable when done by women, but not even morally questioned when done by men- then we as a society, fundamental have no Morals." The quote is written by Farida D.

After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support," read Samantha's note.

Dressed in a white ensemble, Samantha looked every inch elegant. She posed with pink and white flowers in her hair.
