Disney announces release dates for 'Incredibles 2', 'Cars 3'

Disney has announced the release dates for 19 movies through the year 2020, including Cars 3, which will release on June 16, 2017 and Incredibles sequel on June 21, 2019.

Toy Story 4, the fourth film in the beloved franchise about talking toys has been bumped back a year from its original release date to June 15, 2018, reported The Wrap.

Gigantic a modern re-telling of Jack and the Beanstalk will hit theatres on March 9, 2018. In the film, adventure-seeker Jack will ascend the beanstalk and find a whole new world up in the sky as he discovers giants hidden within the clouds.

The Incredibles, which released in 2004, made US $261 million domestically. The two Cars films earned US $435 million cumulatively at the domestic box office.

Toy Story 3, however, is the third highest-grossing animated film of all time, after Frozen and Minions with a worldwide gross total of over US $1 billion.
