2 States trailer: Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt look cute in sweet and sour love story

After creating a lot of buz with the posters, makers of 2 states have finally released the much-awaited trailer of the Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starrer. 

Based on Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, the film is a story of two IIM graduates who fall for each other. However, their cultural differences stand in the way. While Alia is seen as a Tam-Brahm girl, Arjun plays a suave punjabi boy.

If the trailer is anything to by, the film seems to be a complete entertainer with all the elements — love, romance, drama — in place.

The lead pair, who are also rumoured to be dating each other, have locked lips in the film and the two look quite comfortable and convincing in the intimate scenes.

Both Alia and Arjun are not new to kissing on screen as they have done it in their debut films (Alia in Student Of The Year) and (Arjun in Ishaqzaade). 

A lot of hype was generated for the launch of the trailer as Alia had sent out a public invite to the "engagement ceremony" aka the "2 States" movie promo launch on Twitter. 

The card was posted with the message: "I'm getting engaged."

The film, directed by Abhishek Varman will hit the screens on April 18.
