Delhi: Sidhant Verma would often brandish his weapon

Thirty-five-year-old Sidhant Verma was a goldsmith by profession but fell into bad company and entered the crime world in 2005. He has 33 cases registered against him.

Verma would mainly operate with his associates and carry out chain snatchings in various parts of Delhi and NCR. Verma would often abuse and brandish his weapon. He was also proud of the fact that he had 33 cases against him.

Verma follows a very unique modus operandi, every time he would be released from jail he would either change his address or start living with his friend. Later he would purchase a SIM card on a fake identity card and use it to carry out illegal activities. Investigating officials revealed that Verma does not like talking about his family. His family sold their house in North Delhi's Sabzi Mandi area. Police officials added that his elder brother would visit him often when he was lodged in Dasna Jail. Verma has also married twice.
