Kane Williamson-led New Zealand spectacularly snatched the decider of the three-match Test series against hosts Pakistan from the jaws of defeat to register a first away victory in the longest format of the game against Pakistan in 49 years.

In a series that disapproves the alleged slowly eroding charm of Test cricket, familiar fragilities of the Pakistan batting line-up were exposed by the Black Caps on two decisive occasions as they bounced back from desperate positions to pull off stunning victories.

Chasing 280 on the final day, Pakistan were bowled out for 156, courtesy of a collective effort from the BlackCaps bowlers. While Tim Southee, Ajaz Patel, and William Somerville picked three wickets each, Colin de Grandhomme had one scalp to his name too.

The Kiwi captain Williamson, who generally is very calm and composed, were all together in a different zone when he was called for the post-match presentation.

To begin with, he trolled the former Pakistani cricketer Ramiz Raja, who was the presenter of the presentation.

Raja asked him about his 'wait for 49 years for this moment' and Williamson came up with an 'epic reply.

Raja asked, "You had to wait 49 years for this moment.." and with a cheeky smile Williamson replied, "I didn't wait for 49 years," before he broke into laughter.

Even before Raja could announce the sponsor to come forward and hand Williamosn the 'Oye Hoe' trophy, the BlackCaps captain picked up the trophy himself, posed with it and walked away to join his teammates.

"Too excited to shake hands with the sponsors, give me the trophy says Kane Williamson! Absolutely brilliant " shouted an excited Danny Morrison in the commentary box.
