Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently expressed his admiration for Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli during an interactive session called Ask SRK on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Currently, Kohli is in Rajkot, actively participating in the third and final match of the series against Australia. After taking a short break from cricket, he missed the first two ODIs. As the showpiece tournament, the ODI World Cup, is set to commence on October 5, there are high expectations for Kohli to shine with his batting skills and bring the trophy back home to India.
During the Ask SRK session, a fan brought up the ongoing fan war posts between Shah Rukh and Kohli, prompting the Bollywood star to share his thoughts on the cricketer. In response, Shah Rukh affectionately referred to Kohli as his "damaad" (son-in-law).
"I love @imVkohli he is like my own and I pray always for his well being….bhai damaad jaisa hai humaara!!!" SRK replied.

Shah Rukh's admiration for Kohli is widely recognized, as these two superstars are frequently spotted together during the Indian Premier League. Their camaraderie is evident, as they consistently make an effort to exchange greetings and engage in conversations whenever SRK's team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, competes against Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Their friendship reached new heights when they were captured dancing to the tune of "Jhoome Jo Pathan" following KKRs triumphant victory over RCB in the IPL 2023 at the iconic Eden Gardens in April.
