India v/s South Africa 1st T20: Team news- SA suffer AB de Villiers setback, Suresh Raina returns

South Africa took the field for the first T20 against India on Sunday but his their main man AB de Villiers. De Villiers, who missed a large part of the ODI series due to injury, suffered a knee injury in the last ODI. 

“There is no AB de Villiers, he hurt his knee in the last ODI. (There are) quite a lot of new faces today. In terms of debuts we have Klaasen and Dala. It’s time for a refresh button after the dismal ODI series,” South Africa captain Jean Paul Duminy said on Sunday.

With de Villiers missing out, South Africa brought in youngsters Heinrich Klaasen and Carl Junior Dala into the side.

India have included Suresh Raina in their squad. 

India had one absence through injury as well with Kuldeep Yadav missing out due to a hand injury. 

In his absence India have decided to go with only one specialist spinner in Yuzvendra Chahal. The visitors have opted for three seamers with Jaydev Unadkat joining Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah in the line-up. Manish Pandey came into the middle order for his first game of the tour.
