IND vs PAK, Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan announce playing XI against India for much-awaited clash

Pakistan, on Friday, announced their playing XI against India in the Asia Cup 2023 match which will be held tomorrow - September 2, 2023. The match will be held in Sri Lanka's Kandy on Saturday. Pakistan will be fielding the same playing XI that featured in their first match against Nepal in Multan on August 30.

This highly anticipated match marks the first meeting between the two teams in 10 months, with their last encounter taking place during the T20 World Cup in 2022. However, this time, the clash will be in the 50-over format, as the ODI World Cup 2023 looms on the horizon.

Pakistan kicked off the Asia Cup with a resounding victory over Nepal, defeating them by a staggering 238 runs. Senior players such as Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Afridi showcased their skills and contributed to the team's success. Nevertheless, the most significant highlight of their triumph was Iftikhar Ahmed's century.
