For India, it was opening batsmen Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul who did most of the heavy lifting when it came to getting the runs on the board during the 2nd Test at Lord's in London. While the 'Hitman' scored 83, KL Rahul proved his mettle and scored a century.
However, the England crowd seems to not have appreciated the man's hard work as during the third day's play, while fielding, fans were seen throwing beer corks towards him.
Apparently, the commentators were heard speaking about the same and they said that the English crowd on two occasions threw things around where KL Rahul was fielding.
The incident took place during the 68th over when someone threw a bottle cork on the field near Rahul on the boundary. Soon, Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was seen standing at third man and Kohli asking him about it.
While the batsman kept his calm, it was what Kohli asked him to do that got netizens laughing. As the commentators said, Kohli had asked Kohli to throw the items back into the crowd.
