Zepto has raised 200 million dollars at a valuation of 1.4 billion dollars (Rs 11,556 crore). The company, founded in 2021, has become the country's first unicorn in 2023. The company was founded by Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra who had quit their engineering course in the United States in order to launch their firm.

Both Vohra and Palicha are in their early twenties. Palicha was only 21 when his company's valuation crossed Rs 7300 crore.

Palicha was born in 2001 in Mumbai. He started launching companies when he was just 17 years old. He first founded a company named GoPool. He also went to the United States to study computer engineering but later quit the course. In 2021, he and Vohra founded Zepto. Within weeks of operations, the valuation of the startup reached 200 million dollars.

Before Zepto, a startup launched by them failed as they couldn't find a product market fit.

Zepto delivers grocery items within minutes. The company is headquartered in Mumbai.

Kaivalya Vohra is also a Stanford dropout. He was raised in Dubai. His net worth is Rs 1000 crore. He is the youngest co-founder of a unicorn in India.

Palicha's net worth in 2022 was Rs 1200 crore. 

Their net worths are bound to rise after the latest funding round.
