Fiat Chrysler has announced a recall of nearly 4.5 lakh SUVs worldwide to fix two separate issues, according to media reports.
In a first, the carmaker has issued a recall for nearly 352,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee's and Dodge Durango SUVs with model years 2011-12 to fix a wiring issue in the vanity mirror which may overheat and cause a fire.
In the second recall, the carmaker has called back over 93,000 2015 Jeep Compass and Patriot SUVs to fix a clamp which may let power steering fluid to leak, posing a potential fire hazard.
So far, no injuries have been reported in either cases.
