Ranveer Singh had shared his secret when he was made the brand ambassador of a condoms brand in 2014.
After back-to-back dismal box office performances of 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Cirkus, Ranveer Singh will be heaving a sigh of relief currently as his recent release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been a huge success and earned over Rs 300 crore at the global box office. Even Ranveer is being highly praised for his flambouyant performance of Rocky Randhawa in the Kaan Johar film, in which he is seen opposite Alia Bhatt for the second time after Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy in 2019.
But, let's rewind back to 2014 when Ranveer made a shocking revelation of losing his virginity at age 12. Nie years earlier, the Lootera actor was made the brand ambassador of the Durex condoms brand and even starred in its advertisement. It was then that Ranveer had confessed his secret, urging people to have open and healthy conversations about sex and stop treating it as a taboo.
While speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer had said, "I think I was around 12 when I did it. I started everything early, everything! I was way ahead — so much so, that in school all the mothers used to say he (Ranveer) is that rotten apple that’s spoiling all our kids." The Dil Dhadakne Do actor had continued that he used to hold sermons with other boys in his school where he used to teach them. "I got into a lot of trouble but yes I had that keeda or maybe I was the keeda", he added.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be seen next in Don 3 directed by Farhan Akhtar. The actor has replaced Shah Rukh Khan in the franchise, which had riginally begun in 1978 when Amitabh Bachchan starred in the original Don helmed by Chandra Barot Don 3 is scheduled to release in 2025.
