When people thought Amitabh Bachchan lost his eyesight, legendary star shares anecdote

On Saturday Amitabh Bachchan uploaded a throwback photo striking retro swagger in sunglasses. He recalled those were the days when wearing glasses like the ones he does in the photo was not in vogue, and many thought he had lost his eyesight. Big B donned a dashing look wearing a blue zipper jacket along with the oversized retro shades.

"Wo bhi kya din the!!! When wearing glasses like these publicly or at public functions was not considered 'IT'... but I liked wearing them and did it... they all thought I had lost my eyesight... BUT... you know what thought did," Big B wrote alongside his Instagram post.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh who himself is a fashion icon lauded Bachchan's style and commented on his post with a 'crown' emoji.

The 77-year-old superstar has an array of films lined up over the next months. He is currently shooting for Vikas Bahl's directorial Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta.

Big B will next be seen in Nagraj Manjule's Jhund and he is also filming for Ajay Devgn's upcoming directorial Mayday with him as well as Rakul Preet Singh.

Amitabh Bachchan will be reuniting with Deepika Padukone in two films. The actors will star in Nag Ashwin's magnum opus with Prabhas. While they will also be seen together in The Intern wherein the legendary actor replaced the late Rishi Kapoor. 

Bachchan has been awaiting the release of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra in which he is playing the lead with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
