Sushant Singh Rajput-Bhumi Pednekar starrer Sonchiriya released just two days back but the movie is barely being treated as equal. Sonchiriya managed to just get 8% of total screens as compared to Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi. Not just that, Sushant Singh Rajput has come to know that a few theatres are screening his movie Sonchiriya in another dubbed in another language.

Sushant took to his social media handles and posted the concern. He also took care of the fans' emotions, thanked them and told that he would take the necessary action by escalating the matter to those concerned. For the same, the actor has appealed that his fans give him the name of theatres dubbing the film in another language.

Sushant's post began with a thank you letter for appreciating his film. "My dear audience. Firstly a big thank you to all of you and the reviewers who are showering so much praise and appreciation on Sonchiriya! Despite a ridiculously low number of screens the film's been released on, we're getting rave reviews and also trends of growth," he wrote.

Jumping on the matter, Sushant added, "However, a lot of you are writing in to me with heartbreaking reports that the film is released in some 'dubbed' version which is not the same as the original version we have created. Please note that I have not dubbed for any version other than the original dialect. And neither have any of my senior actor colleagues who are a part of the film and who I've spoken with!"

Finally Sushant asked his fans to help him find the culprit by doing their bit. "Please send me names of theatres that you find are playing this 'dubbed' version and I will escalate to those concerned. I don't want our labour of love to be corrupted in any manner. Keep the faith on Sonchiriya and keep spreading the good word...Thank you so much! Jai Shiv Shambho," he concluded.

Sonchiriya is directed by Udta Punjab famed helmer Abhishek Chaubey. The movie also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Sonchiriya released in fewer theatres but unlike Luka Chuppi, the movie gathered synonymously good reviews. People have also claimed to like the shocking twist this film brings them.
