Reports of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's December wedding float again amidst coronavirus lockdown

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been under home quarantine and while it was believed that they had moved in together, the couple is actually spending equal amount of time in each other's homes. Now news reports state that they are going to get married in December this year.

Mid-Day reported that Ranbir and Alia's family is deciding that the couple should tie the knot in the last 10 days of December. The wedding celebrations are expected to kick off from December 21, 2020, but they are still trying to figure out the dates given the situation of coronavirus outbreak.

A source told the daily, "It was earlier planned as a destination wedding. but now. the families have decided to go ahead with the band-baaja-baaraat in Mumbai. in the last 10 days of December. Thankfully, Rishi's [Kapoor] health is much better, so the family is looking forward to the celebrations. The wedding functions will tentatively kick off on December 21 and will be spread over four days. But the dates are yet to be locked given the current situation."

Ranbir and Alia have collaborated on the professional front for the first time with Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra', which was also slated for release on December 4, 2020. It remains to be seen if the movie's release date will be impacted by the pandemic. The shooting of 'Brahmastra' was halted due to shutdown, resulting in more images and videos of Ranbir and Alia spending time with each other.
