Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher’s Groomer have been released in theatres today. The plot of the movie centers around Abhishek a cricket coach who trains a differently-abled cricket player, played by Saiyami. However, do you know why Aaradhya Bachchan has been thanked in the movie's credits?

The climax scene in the movie where Abhishek Bachchan does a little victory dance is ideated by Aaradhya Bachchan. Talking about it, filmmaker R Balki told Bollywood Spy in an interview, “It was a very beautiful moment for me in our film. I am happy we managed to capture it, and obviously thanks to the people behind it who came up with the idea as well.”

He added, “Abhishek was talking to Aaradhya and was telling her, ‘This is the end of the film.’ She had this beautiful suggestion, ‘Why don’t you do a little Ghoomer thing in the end and walk away?“ He further called Aaradhya ‘the creator of that moment in Ghoomer’ and said, “That was Aaradhya’s first idea. For a child to have an idea and understand this stuff requires a lot of depth and love and I really want to thank her for that.”

Helmed by R Balki, Ghoomer is a sports drama starring Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Angad Bedi, and Ivanka Das among others in key roles. The movie has released in theatres today (August 18) and has been garnering positive reviews from the audience.

Amitabh Bachchan also heaped praise on his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan’s performance in the movie and wrote in his blog, “It is beyond all doubt that Ghoomer is a very superior film. I say this as a father yes, but also as a long-standing member of this fantastic fraternity. At this young age, Abhishek, and in the duration of the time (that) you have been in the Industry, you have played the most complex characters with immense conviction, diversity, and aplomb. Each one (has been) difficult and different, and each (one) successful. My pride has no bounds. It has been tough to be in reserve on compliments and facts. But no more. It has been spoken and shall be spoken ever. My love.”

The movie revolves around the story of a cricket coach played by Abhishek Bachchan, whose life takes a turn when he meets, and trains a differently-abled cricketer, played by Saiyami Kher. Former cricketer Virender Sehwag also heaped praise on the performances of the actor and claimed that the movie will leave the audience teary-eyed.
