In what comes as another shock from Sonu Nigam, the singer has decided to quit Twiiter tis morning. Sonu shared the news on his Twitter account, after going on a rant in a series of 24 tweets.
Looks like the singer is mighty upset with the way the Twitterati has been "spewing venom with such relish" on the microblogging site and equated it to porn. He addressed several issues that have been bugging him for a long time in his 24 tweets-long Twitter rant.
On Tuesday, Twitter had suspended the account of singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya soon after he posted a string of offensive tweets. This was done after social media users accused the 58-year-old singer of using “inappropriate” and “insulting” language on the platform.
Apparently, Sonu Nigam is irked by the one-sided nature of the actions of those in power. He also highlighted that we all have stopped being humans first. All that we are bothered about is our religious identities.
