Anushka Sharma's Friday release 'Pari' has opened to a decent start at the box-office. While the lead actress is getting praised for her brilliant performance, it is not able to translate in terms of box-office collections.
Pari struggled at the weekend as audience seemed little interested in watching a horror film on festive weekend of Holi and even on Monday, Pari earned only Rs 2.14 crore. Now, the four-day collections of Pari stands with the grand total of Rs 17.48 crore at the domestic market. Meanwhile, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety seems to be giving stiff competition to Anushka Sharma's home production. While Karthik Aryan film is racing towards 100 crores mark, Pari is struggling at ticket window.
According to Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, Anushka’s film collected an estimated Rs 2.14 crore nett on Monday, thus, taking its total collection to Rs 17.48 crore in four days. Earlier today, Taran Adarsh took to his micro-blogging site to share the official collection of the film. He wrote, “#Pari Fri 4.36 cr, Sat 5.47 cr, Sun 5.51 cr, Mon 2.14 cr. Total: 17.48 cr. India biz.”
