Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be hosting a grand wedding reception for their friends and colleagues from the film industry on December 1 in Mumbai
Following a lavish wedding in Lake Como, Italy, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, hosted a reception in the former's hometown Bengaluru on November 21.
Later, Ranveer's sister Ritika Bhavnani too organised a fun party for the duo at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.
Now, the newlyweds are going to host a reception in Mumbai, which will be attended by their friends and colleagues from the film industry.
And since the wedding of the power couple was a close-knit affair, the guest list for the reception has been a topic of discussion since the very beginning.
Earlier, if Katrina Kaif was invited to the wedding reception or not was being talked about as the actress was dating actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was Deepika's former boyfriend.
Katrina in fact, said on Koffee With Karan 6 that she is looking forward to an invitation to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's wedding but she isn't sure if she will be invited.
She said, ""I'm really excited about all these weddings. I want to wear nice clothes and attend... I might not be invited for any but that's a separate thing. But in my mind I'm looking forward to an invitation."
However, looks like Katrina has been invited!
As per a report in SpotboyE, Ranveer Singh has invited Katrina Kaif to his reception in Mumbai on December 1.
Katrina Kaif, who is currently filming Bharat with Salman Khan, has reportedly discussed her schedule with the filmmakers as she intends to tick on yes on the RSVP note.
"Katrina received the invitation four days ago and she is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk in to the party with the superstar and (Bharat) director Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to the bash," a source told the website.
The source also added that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are even sending text messages to their colleagues and close friends.
"While the actress (Deepika) did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did," the source was quoted as saying.
