Bani J, Amit Sadh win big at Yellowstone International Film Festival 2023

In the 4th edition of YIFF, Bani J received the Outstanding Performance In a Series Award for Four More Shots Please, and Amit Sadh received the Outstanding Performance In a Recurring Role Award for Breathe Into The Shadows.

Yellowstone International Festival kick-started on Sunday, 22 October 2023, at  Gurgaon with a star-studded red carpet with Bani J, Amit Sadh, Deepak Kalra, and Siddharth Chauhan among many others in attendance. 

Showcasing 140 films under categories Including Feature shorts, LGBTQIA+, Women empowerment, Comedy, Horror, Short and feature documentaries feature films from the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Canada, INDIA, Italy, Netherlands, Chile, Spain, Pakistan, Belgium, Turkey, Israel, Finland, New Zealand, Sweden and many more, the festival will run till the 27 October 2023 at multiple venues in Delhi. 

The festival opened with the premiere of the multiple award-winning film Amar Colony starring Sangeeta Aggarwal, Nimisha Nair, Ayush Shrivastava, Followed by the Indian Premier of Tits and North Indian Premier of The Broken Table. The festival will also host the Asian premiere of the Academy Award-winning Mercedes Ruehl Comedy Feature, The Nana Project Directed by Robin Givens Screening of Rare a thrilling short film featuring Piyush Mishra, The Group (Balgam) Starring Priydarshi Pulikonda and Kavya Kalyanram Directed by Venu Yeldandi.

YIFF in its 4th edition this year announced awards in multiple categories. Bani J received the Outstanding Performance In a Series Award for Four More Shots Please. Amit Sadh received Outstanding Performance In a Recurring Role Award for Breathe Into The Shadows. Deepak Kalra received the Outstanding Performance In a Supporting Role (Feature Film) award for Gumraah. Siddharth Chauhan received the Achievement in Film Direction (Feature) award for Amar Colony. Sangeeta Agarwal received the Outstanding Performance In a Supporting Role award for Amar Colony. Ayush Shrivastava received the Outstanding Performance In a Supporting Role award for Amar Colony. 

While receiving the award Amit Sadh said "Attending a festival and receiving an award is like savouring the sweetest flavours of accomplishment. It's a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that fuel our creative journeys. Festivals are where dreams are celebrated, and awards are the humble nods from our peers that remind us to keep pushing the boundaries of our craft." 

Bani J expressed her happiness receiving the award and said, "I feel that OTT platforms are really amazing to showcase work as there's a lot of creative freedom and not much censorship. I am humbled that the audience has loved my work and I have received this Award for Outstanding Performance."
