Reportedly, Rupal Patel was admitted to the hospital a few days ago after she was feeling unwell.
'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' actor Rupal Patel, who shot to fame as 'Kokilaben' aka Kokila Modi in the hit serial, has been admitted to hospital. While there is no confirmation on why the actor was hospitalised, her husband Radha Krishan Dutt recently shared that Rupal is doing 'fine' now and there was no reason to worry.
Reportedly, Rupal Patel was admitted to the hospital a few days ago after she was feeling unwell. As per a report in India Today, she is expected to be discharged soon. Her husband, Radha Krishan Dutt was quoted telling the publication, "She is fine now… No worries." A source close to Rupal was quoted saying that she is expected to return home from the hospital in the next three or four days.
For the unversed, after her 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' stint, Rupal grabbed headlines once again after musician Yashraj Mukhate synced her famous dialogue from the serial 'Rasode Mein Kaun Tha' to some upbeat music. The recreated version instantly went viral and TV and film celebrities all joined in to create their own versions and share on social media.
In fact, Rupal too had revealed that she spoke to Yashraj and even thanked him for making it.
She had said, "My sister-in-law sent me a message about it. Later, my co-actor, Rhea Sharma sent me the rap. My immediate reaction was surprise and shock. I was perplexed about how Yashraj got this clip since I never sang on the show. Later, I realised that it's a rap and he has used my dialogues for it (laughs). I liked it so much that I asked a few friends for his number. I spoke to him and expressed my gratitude. I am humbled and grateful for Smriti (Irani) madam for liking it. I am not on any social media platforms as I don't want to be distracted when I am working."
The second season of her hit show 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya' was also launched in 2020. However, Rupal quit the show in just a month.
