User-generated content company MouthShut.com deleted 4,100 profiles of users who have been allegedly posting fake reviews of products and services on the website, which the company said was a testimony of their commitment to the consumer and their problems
“These profiles were deleted by the MouthShut team after thorough investigation and background checks,” said Faisal Farooqui, Founder-CEO, MouthShut.com.
The company took the step after it realised that certain users were posting extra reviews to promote specific brands and writing negative reviews for the rival brands.
MouthShut is a platform for consumers to share posting unbiased reviews and opinions about brands and products.
