Facebook and Instagram down across the world

Many Facebook users are facing problem as the social networking site is down due to server maintenance. 

A message showing to those affected suggests the problem is part of scheduled maintenance.  "Facebook will be back soon," the message showing to users reads.

The users are facing difficulty to login and if they are able to login, they are not able to use functions like uploading photographs, adding statuses or adjusting particular pages were not working.

Some Instagram users are facing same problem as they are not able to login. 

According to outage detecting app downtracker, the issue has affected users across the world. "Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few minutes. In the meantime, read more about why you're seeing this message. Thanks for your patience as we improve the site," a message on the website read.

Facebook in a statement said, "Company is aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps".
