Seven-month-old Vishwanath Kale, who was brought by his mother Durga to Cama Hospital as he was suffering skin rashes and fever, was completely healed of his ailments when he was reunited with his family. It may be recalled that the hospital had advised Durga to admit her son for treatment.

“When I saw my son, he had no skin rashes and fever. I have learnt from beggar Anil Inke that apart from giving him some money, the lady had also given him a bottle containing milk and some medicine. The medicine was to cure skin rashes, which means the lady had taken due care of my son and had also treated him,” said Durga Kale.

While Durga is happy that her son is completely healed, she says the vanishing act of the lady from the hospital was unjustified. “The way that lady spoke to me, it never looked that she would leave the place with my son. She could not even walk properly and was very kind while talking. While I thank the lady for curing my son, I will never forgive her for her act. I cannot trust anyone after the incident. I am happy that my son is back. I give all the credit to the police and media for their support in bringing him back,” she said.

“We don’t believe that the lady was a healer and even if she was, she could have told that to the boy’s mother. There was no need for her to take baby from her mother’s custody and flee the place,” said an officer from Azad Maidan police station.
