The two married five months ago and the accused started harassing her husband for money and property.
The police have arrested four people, a woman, her two brothers and a priest, for allegedly plotting multiple murders. The accused woman, who is in her 30s, with her brothers and priest had planned to kill her husband, his first wife and their children for the greed of property.
According to the cops, the husband found out about his second wife's plot and was curious to know her reason to plan the killing. So, he started recording their phone conversations and on the day of the incident, he approached the police, who caught the four red-handed as they were conducting black magic rites to kill the victim and his family. The incident took place at Bengalpura in Bhiwandi city police station jurisdiction.
Cops said the reason behind planning the murders was that the accused wife, Khalida Zhulfikar Mullah, wanted to live a lavish life and she did not want the property to be shared with her husband's first wife and children. Mullah and her two brothers, Sayam Rashid Zulfar and Nasim Wasim Khan, along with the priest Maulana Ubed Zuber Ahmed Habib Shaikh were produced in court yesterday.

A case under Maharashtra Prevention and eradication of human sacrifice and other inhuman, evil and inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act, 2013 and other relevant sections of the IPC.
Senior inspector of crime from Bhiwandi city police station, CR Chavan, said, "The victim has three sons and his second wife had planned to kill all of them, including the victim. The husband started doubting of black magic when he fell sick often and had also spotted lemon in the refrigerator and at other places in the house. The priest is from Govandi. Initially, the priest had asked for Rs3.50 lakh to kill all the five members and he was given Rs1.34 lakh.
We arrested the accused on Monday."
