Kochan said around 10.30am on Thursday, Khalid left his sheep on the ground adjacent the school, in order to disturb the students who were playing there during recess.
The principal of Malwani-based Holy Angel School, Simson Kochan, has filed an FIR against an elderly local for harassing the students of the school and their parents. Accused Wahid Khalid (63) lives right opposite the school.
Kochan said around 10.30am on Thursday, Khalid left his sheep on the ground adjacent the school, in order to disturb the students who were playing there during recess. Khalid then came near the school and passed some filthy comments on one of the parents, who then complained to the principal in this regard.
Kochan alleged, "As soon as I went to confront Khalid, he started hitting me. Looking at that, my students came to help me. Meanwhile, the police arrived at the spot and Khalid fled to his home. Some students also got injured amid that chaos."
Senior police inspector Milind Khetle said, "We have registered a case under section 324, 509 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Khalid also passed some remarks, intruding upon the privacy of the women who had come to the school to pick up their children."
