The winners of Technothlon 2018 from each squad will receive a guided tour of NASA. For the first time ever, runners up of both squads of Technothlon 2018 will win a guided trip to ISRO as a prize.
Recognising the urgent need for technical exposure and true inspiration for the present day school students, the student fraternity of IIT Guwahati organise TECHNOTHLON—The International School Championship—as a part of their annual techno-management festival TECHNICHE.
The winners of Technothlon 2018 from each squad will receive a guided tour of NASA. For the first time ever, runners up of both squads of Technothlon 2018 will win a guided trip to ISRO as a prize.
Online registrations are open till 11.59 pm July 14, 2018. This year provision has been made for bulk registration portal for interested schools.
To register, the schools need to visit technothlon.techniche.org/register or contact your city rep <name> (<YOUR NUMBER>).
Apart from this a provision for on-spot registration is also available at St Edmund School (Jawahar Nagar), Career Point and Innovation Institutes, from 9.15 to 10.15 a.m at all the above centres in Jaipur.
The TECHNOTHLON is conducted in two phases—Prelims and across the country, the students are divided into two squads, Junior Squad comprising 9th and 10th standard students and Hauts Squad comprising students of 11th and 12th standard (as on 15th July, 2018). The students get separate question papers, set by the students of IIT Guwahati. The next edition of Technothlon is to be held in 2018 with the Prelims scheduled for 15th July.
Those who make through to the Mains will be invited to the IIT Guwahati campus during Techniche from August 30 to September 2, 2018, where they will contest in more challenging rounds, trying to bag the championship. There are various prizes for the winning teams from each squad.
