Complaints related to Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED) will now be registered on state-level Chief Minister Helpline number 181 (toll free). Following this, the PHED call centre number 1800-180-6088 has been discontinued.

Chief engineer, D Khan informed that for complaints related to PHED, a state-level call centre was started in the past. But after the start of the Chief Minister’s Helpline, this call centre was no longer needed.

Hence, this call centre has been dicontinued since September 30. PHED has also started public hearing at chief engineer’s office for disposal of problems of consumers. Principal secretary, Rajat Kumar Mishra has directed the chief engineer to hold public hearing on every Wednesday from 3 to 4 pm at the PHED headquarters, ‘Jal Bhawan’ for disposal of complaints related to the department.

During the public hearing, chief engineer will listen to the grievances of consumers and will also settle them with priority. If there is a government holiday on Wednesday, hearing will be held on the next working day.
