40 panoramas of saints, deities being built in state: Vasundhara Raje

The state government is on a spree of panorama construction of various local deities and saints across the state. On the second day of her Bikaner tour, the CM inaugurated Karni Mata panorama at Deshnoke in Bikaner on Saturday.

Only a few days back during her tour of Dungarpur, Raje had inaugurated the panorama of Kali Bai while before that she had laid foundation of panorama of Parashuram in Chittor in the month of April. Before that in Malaseri in Bhilwara, the foundation stone of panorama of Dev Narayan, who is revered as lord of Gurjars,  was laid down by Raje.

Underscoring the importance of local religious deities and noble men and saints, chief minister Vasundhara Raje said that the purpose of panorma’s is to impart knowledge of the great men and their sacrifice to the youth.

Speaking to a large number of people who had come to witness the function, CM Raje said that the state government was making more than 40 panoramas and work on many of these has been completed. 

During her address, Raje said that Karni Mata was a proponent of cow and environment protection who also fought for eliminating discrimination from the society.

Raje during the day also visited Jasnath Temple and Kaalande Temple in Katariasar, Bikaner on the second and last day of her Bikaner tour.

Later, chief minister went to Nohar and conducted Jansamwad with the party workers and locals. The interaction went on for about five hours and she took one to one feedback from people.
