Two CRPF personnel were killed and four others injured when their mini-bus collided with another bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

The accident occurred at Hang-Gangangeer, 65 kms from here, last night when the CRPF vehicle which was escorting a convoy of pilgrims collided with the bus carrying the pilgrims to Baltal base camp for their onward journey to the cave shrine of Amarnath, they said.

Six CRPF personnel were injured and later admitted to a hospital where two constables identified as Chander Shaker and P Sadakar succumbed to injuries late last night.

None of the pilgrims were injured in the accident, they said.
   
Meanwhile, two persons, including a child, were killed in separate road accidents in Kashmir valley today.
   
The child identified as Zaheen Iqbal was killed when she was hit by a vehicle at Sabdan, 35 kms from here, in Budgam district of central Kashmir.

In a separate incident, a 60-year-old woman identified as Rahmatee was killed when she was hit by a mini-bus at Chandhar near Pampore, 16 kms from here, in Pulwama district.
