Journalists put cameras, pens down, block road

HOWRAH : District journalists blocked the road near the Howrah district magistrate's office on Monday in protest against attacks on reporters.

They addressed the recent attack on a journalist during the Kolkata corporation election in the district. They put their pens, writing pads, and cameras on the road.

The blockade was lifted when government officials assured them of protection and promised to book the culprits.
