Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to three countries - Belgium, US and Saudi Arabia - and yet he completed the trip in 3 days, from March 30 to April 2. During this time, three nights were spent on Air India One, while in transit from one country to the other.

In fact, the PM spends less time sleeping in hotels and prefers to travel at night and sleep in the plane instead. During his recent trip, he spent only two nights in hotels, one in Washington and one in Riyadh.

A senior government official said in a statement to a leading daily, "It is unprecedented to complete a PM's multi-nation trip involving US in just 97 hours. If the PM had not chosen to sleep on the plane, we would not have been back for at least six days."

Modi slept through different time zones, landing in the US in early hours of March 31. This brings up another question - why doesn't the PM ever appear jet-lagged?  According to an official, "Before jet lag hits reverse jet lag comes into force."

Say what you want want, it's quite a feat to undertake 20 trips abroad and cover a whopping 40 countries in just 95 days.
