Despite 'no deal' in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal now proposes anti-BJP alliance to Rahul Gandhi in Haryana

After failing to stitch an alliance with Congress for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday put forth another proposal to Congress president Rahul Gandhi for a three-way alliance comprising Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and Congress in Haryana.

Kejriwal claimed that if formed, the alliance can defeat the BJP on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.

"I want to give a proposal to Rahul Gandhi that if JJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress will fight the election together in Haryana, we can defeat BJP on all the 10 seats in the state. In Delhi, we are winning without Congress, so people don't have to worry about that," he told media here.

Kejriwal said the 'jodi' (combination) of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah is "very dangerous for the country."

"It's important to defeat them. The whole country is divided into two sides – first side includes devotees of Prime Minister Modi who want to vote for him and the second side includes people who want to defeat Prime Minister Modi.

The number of people who want to defeat Prime Minister is very large, but they are divided amongst themselves. They all need to come together. The 'jodi' of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah wins because these people are divided."

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won seven seats in Haryana while Congress and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) were restricted to just one and two seats each.
Haryana will go to polls on May 12.
