Delhi: 3-year-old girl sexually assaulted by minor; Kejriwal slams LG Jung, PM Modi for 'jungle raj'

The accused has been arrested and sent to juvenile home.

A three-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 10-year-old boy at a slum in outer Delhi's Mongolpuri area, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place on Friday.

Both the minors were playing, when the girl came back home crying and complained of pain in her private parts, they said.

The girl's mother later approached police and alleged that the neighbour's boy had inserted some object on her private part, a senior official said.

While the girl was sent for a medical examination and then for counselling, the boy was apprehended from his home and sent to a juvenile home, the official added.

Taking to micro-blogging site, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed LG Najeeb Jung and PM Modi for deteriorating law and order situation.

He said, "Complete jungle raj in Del. LG/Modi ji failed miserably. What hv they done to control deteriorating law n order?"

"LG sahib/ Modi ji, pl do something. Ye delhi mein kya ho raha hai," he added.
