The All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU) today termed the comments of NSCN(IM) general secretary T Muivah on integration of Naga-inhabited areas as "disturbing".

Muivah on March 21 had said the Framework Agreement has paved way for a Greater Nagalim by integrating Naga-inhabited areas of Assam, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh.

In a statement, the apex students' body of the state stated that the people would not accept any solution at their cost and that of the land of the state.

The AAPSU said the eastern districts, specially Tirap, Changlang and Longding, have suffered in the past.

"Peace and tranquillity of the districts are at stake till today. These districts being part and parcel of the state, we cannot accept any solution which hampers the integrity of the land and the people of Arunachal Pradesh," the AAPSU said.

The students' body also appealed the Centre to understand the sentiments of the people and safeguard the ethnic cultures and interest of Arunachal Pradesh.
