Disney and Pixar are known to interweave the stories of their movies by inserting the Easter Eggs. The animation studio's latest offering Coco is no exception.

Miguel's (Anthony Gonzalez) musical adventure with trickster Hector (Gael Garcia Bernal) has found box office success on the Thanksgiving weekend. The movie has managed to push superhero movie Justice League to the second spot.

While people are going loco over the music and the colourful land of the dead from Coco, plenty of familiar Pixar characters and faces make an appearance to sweeten the deal. Let's take a look at 5 most notable appearances.

1. Pizza Planet truck

This pizza delivery truck is one of the mainstays when it comes to Pixar Easter Eggs. It first appeared in Toy Story (1995) and has made a cameo in every Pixar movie since with exception of The Incredibles. In Coco, when Miguel is on his way out to the plaza to polish shoes, we see the white and yellow truck pass him by.

2. Nemo

While on his way to Plaza, Miguel meets his sort of pet Dante. But before we are introduced to the new sidekick, we can see a wooden toy of the popular clownfish from Finding Nemo. Now you will have to wait for the Blu-Ray to come out and pause to decide whether that wooden fish is Nemo or his hero dad Marlin.

3. Luxo Ball

The iconic yellow ball with a blue stripe and red star makes its appearance in Coco as well. When in the land of the dead, Dante gets into a small fight with Frida Kahlo's spirit animal - a groovy monkey. At one point the monkey leaps for Dante and in the background, we see the ball put up on a table. Sadly, the ball never makes an appearance when Frida puts up her performance before Ernesto de La Cruz's sunrise show.

4. Apple's Macintosh

Pixar and Steve Jobs were made for each other. The late visionary help built the animation powerhouse what it is today. Coco pays tribute to the master in a unique way.
When Miguel's dead relatives take him to the Department of Family Reunions, we see all the computers used in that place are Macintosh.

5. A113

This is a number of a class in California Institute of the Arts. It's reported that most of Pixar's brilliant artists have studied and honed their craft in that classroom. Therefore it makes repeat appearances in the movie. It was seen in Toy Story on Andy's mother's car. It was also Cars 3 when Lightning McQueen goes to meet Sterling. In Coco, we see it as office number of one of the clerks of Department of Family Reunions.
