Vineet Singh Hukmani talks about the inspiration behind his new patriotic song Born in Bharat, Born for India.
As Republic Day nears, the Indians are filled with the feeling of patriotism. Recently, Indian singer Vineet Singh Hukmani released a patriotic pop song, which is winning hearts online, Born in Bharat, Born for India.
The song captures the feeling of patriotism and praises the hardworking Indians working day and night to take the country to new heights. In an exclusive conversation with DNA India, Vineet Singh Hukmani talked about his latest release, Born in Bharat, Born for India.
Talking about the inspiration behind the patriotic pop song, Vineet Singh Hukmani said, “I think the Inspiration is coming from all of us Indians. All the energies of the Indians which actually makes Bharat what it is.”
He further added, “So I wanted to do a song that captures this energy and I think that patriotic feeling comes from this energy. Feeling of patriotism is an important part of this genre since we are calling it patriotic pop but the real essence of this song is that it is praising hardworking Indians, the public in our republic. People who are working hard daily to help the country grow and reach new heights.”
Vineet Singh Hukmani also talked about how the song came into existence and said, “I used to do a lot of English music before and I still continue to do that. I was looking for a reason to do something in Hindi and Patriotism is not something I thought I would be so closely attached to. I always felt this but I never thought I would do something musically in this. I had this thing in mind if I do something in Hindi, I will do something patriotic because I feel for it. I don’t want to do every other genre because enough people are doing every other genre. I want to be good at this genre.”
Vineet Singh Hukmani is known for making optimistic and upbeat numbers. The singer mostly sings English songs and has created a name for himself globally. Talking about the thoughts behind his songs, the singer said, “We all live a very difficult life. Everybody has their own highs and lows in a day and I am of the view that music should be uplifting. When someone is low, music should become their friend but I felt two lows become very low. So I think optimism about small things can cheer you up. All my songs have that one common thing in them that makes them uplifting.”
