Actor Siddharth had to walk out of a press conference after members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Swabhimani Sene hijacked the venue. On Thursday, Siddharth was in Bengaluru to promote his film Chithha, and he was addressing the media at a press conference, but soon protestors entered the venue and started shouting slogans angrily. 

The protestors called the program unnecessary when the Cauvery issue is raging. The nuisance creators forced the actor to leave. Siddharth, sat smiling for a few minutes, and he was observing them. However, a few minutes later, when the situation worsened, the actor left the theatre. 

ANI shared the video on their portal, and wrote in the caption, "Members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Swabhimani Sene interrupted a press conference being held by actor Siddharth for his film 'Chikku' and demanded that he leave the venue. The members said that it was not an appropriate time for him to do this PC as Tamil Nadu is demanding Cauvery River water from Karnataka. Siddharth later left the theatre."

This video went viral on the internet, and several netizens came in support of the actor. An internet user wrote, "Just when you thought press conferences couldn't get more intense! Kudos to Siddharth for handling the situation gracefully. Looking forward to watching "Chikku" while hoping the next PC is smoother!" Another internet user wrote, "Massive respect to Siddharth for handling these clowns with such patience and composure. They were railing him up to get political mileage and attention and Siddharth being Siddharth dealt them with his left hand!" One of the internet users wrote, "These andhbhakts actually helped Siddharth in promoting his movie. Now this PC will make more headlines." A netizen wrote, "Kudos to Siddharth for not losing his cool at the pc of his film when the protesters barged in." Siddharth's latest film Chithha was released in cinemas on September 28.
