Rs 1.14 crore: That's how much makers of Diya Aur Baati Hum owe Deepika Singh!

While most TV stars are known for their temper tantrums, Deepika Singh has always been in media and the crew's good books because of her thorough professionalism. Her stint in Diya Aur Baati Hum fetched her a lot of acclaim and awards but now that the show has ended, Deepika is in a mess.

And the makers of the show are to be blamed for this. We hear that the producers haven't cleared Deepika's payments yet. Reportedly, the makers owe Deepika a whopping Rs 90 lakhs acting fee and an additional Rs 24 lakhs interest which means Deepika is yet to receive around Rs 1.14 crore from the producers and they aren't processing her payment.

The makers want to slash her fee and has allegedly asked her to close the deal with Rs 67 lakh. They have adopted a similar technique with the other actors on the show who agreed to leave the issue with a lump sum amount. But a strong headed Deepika has decided to opt for a legal course, if her payments aren't cleared.
