The Duke of Cambridge said that his new-born son, Prince George “has a voice to match any lion’s roar” at the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards at the Royal Society

In a speech during the event at the Royal Society, Prince William, who is the royal patron of the UK-based African wildlife conservation charity Tusk Trust, said that he and his wife, Catherine, are “proud parents of a baby who has a voice to match any lion’s roar”, and added that it was the royal couple’s first evening out without their baby, the Mirror reported

He added that like any new parent, his thoughts inevitably turns to the world that his child will inherit, which is the driving force behind his plan to expand his work in the field of conservation, particularly in respect of endangered species, through the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
