'Phone Bhoot': Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi make for quirky trio in horror-comedy first look

Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi are all set to team up for the first time in a horror-comedy flick titled Phone Bhoot. The announcement came along a while back with a quirky photo of the actors posing together. Interestingly, the shoot for the first look was done before the lockdown kickstarted in the country. The film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their home banner Excel Entertainment.

In the photo, Katrina, Ishaan and Siddhant are suited up in style and jumping in joy making them a fun trio, indeed. Excel Movies posted the photo on their Instagram page and wrote, "Darna allowed hai, as long as you’re laughing along the way. #PhoneBhoot, ringing in cinemas near you in 2021. @gurmmeetsingh @katrinakaif @siddhantchaturvedi @ishaankhatter @ravi.shankaran @jasvinderbath @ritesh_sid @faroutakhtar".

Even Kaif, Khatter and Chaturvedi posted the announcement on their Instagram page. 

The upcoming supernatural comedy is being helmed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The team will begin shoot later this year and the film is scheduled for a 2021 release as per the announcement.

Phone Booth has been announced on the day Ishaan's Bollywood debut film Dhadak completed two years of its release. He will next be seen in Khaali Peeli. While Katrina's upcoming film is Sooryavanshi. On the other hand, Siddhant's upcoming movie is Bunty Aur Babli 2.
