Both the actresses are busy promoting their next in different cities. From airport lounges to concerts to photo-ops — they are putting their smartest sartorial moves out there.  Without a doubt, Parineeti Chopra is playing her best fashion game of late, as she promotes her next — Meri Pyaari Bindu. Pari, who’s in excellent shape right now has struck a delicate balance between sporty street and glam boho in her promo outing with man candy Ayushmann Khurrana. Her style evolution reflects who she truly is — a powerhouse actress who can sing and perform in front of a live audience like a true rock-star. From pale blue shimmery denims to statement jackets, from sheer, embellished tops to cutesy shorts — she’s never looked so on point.

On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor has never claimed to be a fashionista. She’s sure about her comfort zone, which is girl-next-door meets the incurable-romantic. Picture a palette of pinks, pale chiffons and florals and you’ve pretty much nailed her personal style. However, in the past couple of weeks, the actress has gravitated towards boho glam and has toughened her romantic looks with statement boots.

Short story

While Parineeti clubs a pair of white cutesy shorts with a two-toned black top, which had a sparkly pussy-bow collar, Shraddha, on the other hand, teams an abstract tree print top with a pair of teeny-tiny shorts. While the Meri Pyaari Bindu beauty completes her look with pop block heels, Shraddha keeps it more evening by opting for a pair of pointy and strappy heels. We much prefer Shraddha’s sophisticated look here thanks to her cat-eyed make-up.

Voyage tales

Pari’s indigo blue tasselled dress easily out-frocks Shraddha’s black printed crop top worn with a pair of denims. While Shraddha’s look is cutesy and young, the Kolhapuri flip-flops sort of bring it down a few notches. Pari, on the other hand, knows the transformative power of clubbing the classic hues of blue with white.

Jacket jargon

At a TV show photo-op, Shraddha layers a jewel-toned look with a floor-length jacket in the matching tone. On the other hand, Pari at a concert, layers her denims with a colour-blocked floor-length waistcoat. While Kapoor’s look says — an Indian version of a debutante ball, Pari’s waistcoat adds a street cred to her ensemble exuding a rockstar hippie vibe which easily kills Shraddha’s dated anarkali silhouette.

Floral fight

While Parineeti layers a floral print mini romper with a green and buttoned floor-length jacket, Shraddha opts for a floral and pleated anarkali as she promoted her next on a TV show. While Shraddha’s look radiates old world romanticism, Pari looks every bit the performer and 70s siren. Having said that, when it comes to sexy appeal and sass, there’s no competition here, Pari wins this round hands down.

Monochrome race

While Parineeti’s monochromatic floral applique crop top worn with a pair of black trousers and white sneakers and two-toned heels, Shraddha teams a crisp white shirt with a pair of blue denims and gold flip-flops. We much prefer Pari’s clean and refined look over Shraddha’s busy look, which would have done better minus the handbag and the metallic chappals.

Colour story

Parineeti’s bright pink belted tunic makes quite a statement with a pair of nude footwear, on the other hand, Shraddha’s vibrant dress sort of clashes with her printed handbag. While Pari only lets her outfit shout, too many elements in Shraddha’s ensemble clutter the look.

Culottes face-off

While Shraddha pairs a floral top with a blue cropped pants, Pari teams a check high-neck top with khaki culottes. The colour blocking effect Pari’s combo creates wins this round. Also, her pointy heels out-dazzle Shraddha’s open-toes.
