She already has three films set to hit the screens in 2020 like Darbar, Netrikann and Mookuthi Amman all in the Tamil language. Nayanthara has been a part of the South Indian film industry for more than 15 years now and she has several blockbusters in her filmography which earned her the tag of 'Lady Superstar'.

For her character in the movies, the stunning beauty is known to go lengths to get into the skin of it. For her forthcoming film, Mookuthi Amman, Nayanthara plays the role of Goddess Amman. To get into the skin of her character, the actor has decided to go vegan in her diet. The spiritual film is directed by duo RJ Balaji and NJ Saravanan, while it stars Balaji as the male lead alongside Nayanthara.

However, this is not the first time, Nayanthara has changed her diet for a film. Earlier while playing the role of Goddess Sita in Rama Rajyam, she turned into a vegetarian, also avoided watching television and attending parties as well.

When Balaji was asked about Nayanthara, he earlier said, "The film’s message reached a wider audience when Vijay did 'Nanban' and Ajith did 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. Likewise, Nayanathara plays the Amman role for the strong message to be conveyed in my spiritual film."

Mookuthi Amman was announced earlier this month and apart from Nayanthara and Balaji, more cast members are yet to be announced.
