UGC NET: Registration started for December 2019 exam @ntanet.nic.in

The exam will be conducted between December 2-6 of this year.

The registrations for UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2019 Exam begin today at the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) - ntanet.nic.in  - as per a notification released by the agency, on part of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

All candidates who wish to appear for the examination can register themselves for the exam at the official website of the agency, or alternatively, at nta.ac.in after following the steps listed here.

The exam will be conducted between December 2-6 of this year.

The registration process will continue for a month, i.e. until October 9, 2019. Students are advised to make use of this opportunity and register themselves for the UGC NET December 2019 exam.

Keep in mind that the students will have to keep a note of their newly generated registration details for future purposes.

Without further ado, here are the steps to register for UGC NET December 2019 Exam:

Step 1. Visit the official website of the UGC - National Testing Agency (NTA) - ntanet.nic.in

Step 2.  Click on the 'UGC NET 2019 December Registration' link.

Step 3. You will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4. On the new page, register your personal details with the correct credentials.

Step 5. You will receive UGC NET December 2019 registration number. Note it down.

Step 6. Log-in to your newly created account with the registration number.

Step 7. Now you have to fill in complete details to finish the registration process. Fill in the application form, note down the specified instruction for the image, upload it.

Step 8. Pay the application fee.

Step 9. Your registration for UGC NET December 2019 Exam is now complete.

 

According to the official notification, the admit card will release on November 9.

The exam will be conducted between December 2-6 of this year, the results for which will be announced on December 31.

 

The candidates should keep in mind that in order to apply for the exam, the candidate must possess 55% marks in the Master’s degree or equivalent exam from recognised universities or institutions.

Candidates belonging to the reserved category must possess 50% marks in the same.

The application fees for Rs 800/- for the General/Unreserved category, while for OBC/EWS section is Rs 400/- and for the SC/ST/PwD/Transgender section, it is Rs 200/-
