SECL Recruitment 2021: Applications invited for 450 posts, no exam required - Qualifications, Salary

The South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), which is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, has announced recruitment for the post of Graduate and Technical Apprentice. Interested candidates can apply before October 5 on its official website: secl-cil.in and mhrdnats.gov.in. 

The SECL is looking to fill in around 450 positions with this recruitment drive. 

Position: Graduate Apprentice Mining - 140 vacancies

- General candidates - 71 posts
- SC category candidates - 19 posts 
- ST category candidates - 32 posts
- OBC category candidates - 18 posts

Position: Technical Apprentice Mining / Mine Surveying - 310 posts

- General category candidates - 156 posts
- SC category candidates - 71 posts
- ST category candidates - 43 posts
- OBC category candidates - 40 posts

Qualifications required:

- 4 years Degree in Mining Engineering for Graduate Apprentice
- 3 years Diploma in Mining Engineering, Mine Surveying for Technician Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification granted by Government recognized Institute

The minimum age limit of candidates applying for the posts of Apprentice should be 18 years. Candidates selected for the post of Graduate Apprentice will be paid Rs 9,000 per month and those selected for the post of Technical Apprentice will be given a stipend of Rs 8.000 per month.
