A 14-year-old boy was hired at Elon Musk's SpaceX as a software engineer recently. The San Francisco-based Quazi is a graduate of Santa Clara University's (SCU) School of Engineering. At the age of Nine, Quazi enrolled at Las Positas Community College and earned a degree in Associate of Science (Mathematics) with the highest distinction.
Quazi was offered this job after he passed the company's 'technically challenging' and 'fun' interview process.
A prodigy and an extremely intelligent boy, Quazi developed an interest in news and current affairs at a very early age. He was only two when he could speak complete sentences. He used to share the news stories with his classmates in the nursery that he had heard on the radio.
After reaching third grade, Quazi started feeling like, he was not learning anything at school. His parents then enrolled him into a community college.
Quazi enjoys playing games, set in historical periods like the Assassin's Creed series. He also enjoys reading science fiction stories by Philip K. Dick and the works of journalist Michael Lewis, who specialises in financial crises and behavioural finance.
Kairan was born to Bangladeshi parents Mushtahid Quazi and Jullia Quazi in California. Quazi's father was a chemical engineer and his mother, a Wall Street executive.
