UPSC is one of the toughest exams to crack to become an Indian IAS officer. To pass the civil service exam, a person studies religiously for several hours. Every year, thousands of candidates seek to take the exam to become IAS, IFS, IPS, and IRS.

Only a few number of them succeed in the most competitive exam. Today we will talk about an extraordinary student who decided to break all stereotypes and take a step of joining the government service even after earning their MBBS degree.

Shena Agarwal was born and brought up in Yamunanagar in Haryana. She is a graduate of AIIMS, New Delhi, in 2009. She topped the CBSE Pre-Medical Test in 2004 and was ready to take training for the IRS in Nagpur while she was preparing to take her third IAS attempt.

The third time proved lucky for her and she secured the first rank creating a wonderful UPSC success story. In CSE 2010, she secured an AIR 305. Dr. Sneha's persistence paid off as she received an AIR 1 in CSE 2011 despite all the difficulties. She is currently serving as a Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana in Punjab. Sneha topped the examination on her third attempt.

Shena is an example that if you have a desire to achieve, you will achieve it, no matter what.

As per various media reports, IAS Shena Aggarwal is currently posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Bhatinda, Punjab.
