The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020, conducted for admission into engineering colleges and a total of twenty-four candidates scored 100 percentile in the JEE (Main).

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday late night declared the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020, conducted for admission into engineering colleges. A total of twenty-four candidates scored 100 percentile in the JEE (Main) of whom the highest eight students were from Telangana, said NTA.
Taking to Twitter, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal congratulated the toppers of JEE (Main).
"This is testimony to the spirit of cooperative federalism and young Aatma Nirbhar Bharat under Hon`ble PM Narendra Modi Ji`s leadership. Despite odds, we prove ourselves," Pokhriyal tweeted.
"I congratulate the toppers of JEE(Mains). I also thank everyone involved in the #JEE exam and for declaring results in 4 days," he added.

The students who have appeared in the examination can check the results through the official websites — jeemain.nta.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in. The JEE examination was held from September 1 to 6, 2020 at 660 exam centres in 233 cities, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Over 8 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main 2020.
According to the NTA, the JEE (Main) 2020 for B.E/B. Tech has been conducted two times in CBT mode this year. The first examination was conducted between 7 and 9 January 2020 in six shifts and the second JEE(Main) was conducted from 2 to 6 September 2020 in 10 shifts.
Step 1: Go to the official websites jeemain.nta.nic.in or jeemain.nic.in
Step 2: Click on 'download result' for JEE Main result
Step 3: Enter login credentials including roll number and other details
Step 4: Check and download the JEE Main result 2020
Step 5: Take a printout for future reference
The top 2.5 lakh candidates will be selected to apply for JEE Advanced for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Registrations for the same will start from tomorrow, i.e. September 12, 2020.
