In big news for the CA aspirants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is going to announce the results of the Chartered Accountant (CA) exams for the old as well as the new courses of foundation and intermediate exams on February 8 and 9. The candidates who appeared for these CA exams will be able to check their results on the official website: icai.org.
"Results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination (Old Course & New Course) and Foundation Examination held in November 2020 are likely to be declared on Monday, the 8th February 2021(evening)/Tuesday, the 9th February 2021(morning)," said the ICAI.
The ICAI said in an official statement that the merit list up to the 50th rank will be available for checking along with the results on the official portal. It is to be noted that the ICAI announced the CA final results earlier this month.
Apart from the website, the candidates can check their results through their mobile phones too. They can send an SMS to get to know their results. For those who want to check the results of the intermediate (old syllabus) results can send a message with the text, CAIPCOLD <space> Roll Number to 57575. For the new syllabus of the intermediate exam, they have to send a message that says CAFND <space> Roll Number to 57575.
For the CA exams that were held in November, as many as 4,71,619 students appeared for their papers. These included students appearing for the foundation, the intermediate, and the final exams. Candidates who could not appear for the CA exams in November due to COVID-19 appeared for their papers in January of this year.
